Easter week vacations

Easter week vacations have been the most beautiful time I have had this year; I traveled to Yojoa Lake and enjoyed every second of the journey. The perfect combination of elements designed for thinking and meditating were in there. A beautiful view mesmerizes sight, mind and soul. There are seen quiet and slow boats floating on the water, patient fishermen fishing from dawn to sunset.
In this place nature let us know how diverse and amazing can the world be, even in a close and sometimes crowded place like this. The river has an imposing environment, and quiet water’s view which transfers the spirit of the lake and allow maintaining the communication with something that is new for me, there is a sense of movement and life that is open by the combination of trees and water. All the forms the lake inspires are unique; maybe because it lies in a depression formed by volcanoes, and is also told the lake is a volcano’s crater.
In addition the lake inspires a savage feeling, shows me the sense of being in front of a huge alligator which inspires respect but no fear, and is like if this enormous animal were communicating by his sight, telling the story of the lake, and inviting to know more and more about nature and its spirits. It sometimes presents the sense of being absorbed by the water and consumed by it; but this sense is suddenly replaced by the curiosity of knowing what is in there, and the need to be dissolved in water in order to discern every corner and depth of the region.
The presence and the immensity of this body of water, remembers me the sense of being embraced by an enormous tree. The undeniable happiness of being part of this wild and beautiful set, shaped by the sounds, smells, touches, voices and views it also remembers me a song, (“Evening Falls”). Why is this place so fascinating?
All this in contrast with the sedative rain’s sound and smell, perfectly combined with the warm and loved touch of a tender hand while walking under the soft breeze made of my eastern vacations the best I have ever had.
